In 2008, our world was changing, ripples big and small filtered through our lives. Here at home, the sale of McKenna Memorial Hospital drew to a close 54 years of service on behalf of the community. Or did it?

As a McKenna team member I had a front row seat for those changes. All these years later I feel like the winner of a survivor reality show…I am still a McKenna team member! Reflecting on the transition I take great pride in how both organizations have fulfilled, and exceeded, the promises made to the community during that year of change.
